Jazz Connection
In order to encourage and assist emerging jazz musicians, the association “L’enfant qui danse” aims to implement projects, at a European level, in order to give concrete logistical and cultural solutions.
These meetings will allow musicians to express their full artistic potentiality and will encourage them to give free rein to their artistic integrity and to propose content that lives up to their creative ambitions.
The aim of the project is not to build a show that meets the predetermined expectations of a target audience or to carry out an educational exercise, something that already exists.
The event should be considered as a “musical conference”, a mix between a concert, a jam session and much more.
More concretely this project will be articulated around the hospitality of groups called “guests” by groups called “hosts” of different European countries. In these “musical conferences”, the guest musicians will be invited to choose different jazz standards on which to base, together with all participants, the artistic search and exchange their ideas about the original interpretations.
Every musician who thinks to be qualified will have free access to the stage to live and make the audience live these musical experiences.
